Brainstorm Festival organizes the festival in Gigant te Apeldoorn. Below are the house rules of Gigant supplemented with the extra house rules of the Brainstorm Festival:

  • You are a guest at Gigant. Respect its visitors, staff (from both the Brainstorm Festival and Gigant) and premises.
  • All instructions from employees of both Gigant and Brainstorm Festival should be followed immediately.
  • Threats, sexual harassment and all other forms of aggression will not be tolerated.
  • The use or carrying of any weapons with you is strictly prohibited. In the event of possession of a firearm, the police will be called in at all times.
  • Violence, threats of violence and discrimination are not permitted within Gigant.
  • Sexual harassment by word and gesture is not permitted within Gigant.
  • Smoking is not allowed in Gigant. On the terrace smoking is allowed.
  • Trade in hard and soft drugs and their use is not permitted within Gigant.
  • No alcoholic beverages are served under the age of 18. Legitimation may be asked for. Excessive alcohol consumption is not permitted.
  • Gigant is authorized to conduct a search.
  • Glassware is not allowed in the pop room. You should pour glass from the café into plastic cups.
  • At the entrance, a request for identification can be made. If you do not have them with you, you may be denied access to Gigant.
  • It is not allowed to consume your own drinks and/or food in Gigant.
  • It is not allowed to take drinks outside, except for the designated terraces.
  • At various places within Gigant there are cameras. Anyone visiting Gigant agrees to make recordings.
  • It is forbidden to make noise in the immediate vicinity of Gigant.
  • Lost & found can be handed in and collected at the bar.
  • Complaints can be reported to the management.
  • Objects may be seized.
  • If you violate the house rules, you will be denied access or you will be removed from the building. The police can be called in and, if necessary, a report can be made.
