EXCLUSIVE “AURA”-SHOW IN THE NETHERLANDS

Saor confirmed as Friday-headliner

By confirming SAOR, Brainstorm Festival has a strong headliner for the first day of the festival, Friday evening. The Scottish band around Andy Marshall provides a unique “Aura”-show that will appeal to a wide audience.

“Aura” has been released ten years ago and with that album Saor managed to have an international breakthrough. It is still considered a masterpiece within the folk/black genre. Yet that name does not do Saor justice, because their music embraces much more. It is melodic, atmospheric, loud, features grunts and female vocals, and the use of traditional folk instruments should not go unmentioned.

This is the only “Aura”-show that Saor is giving in the Netherlands this year. Moreover, the performance is the only remaining show the band will give in the Netherlands this year. Two good reasons to attend that special show.

Brainstorm Festival will be held on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November at Podium Gigant in Apeldoorn. Evergrey, Theocracy, Immortal Souls, Ashton Nyte, Alterium, Ecclesia, Undawn, Ephemeral and Angelic Forces were previously confirmed. In addition to performances on the mainstage, special shows can be seen in our theaterhall. The festival also offers space for an exhibition, a metal-market, clinics, interviews and meet & greets.
