EN METALCORE AT BRAINSTORM FEST
Undawn will unleash a big party
The Dutch metalcore band UNDAWN has been added to the line-up of Brainstorm Festival 2024. These fine gentlemen will open on the mainstage on Saturday-afternoon.
Last year Brainstorm Festival had a surprising metalcore band programmed with Confessions Of A Traitor. That show resulted in a big party including an impressive moshpit. Reason enough to repeat that concept, and who better to do that than our own Undawn?
The band has already played at Brainstorm Festival in the past and has been succesful in recent years. Undawn played important shows in The Netherlands and abroad and recently the new single ‘Dear Son’ was released.
Brainstorm Festival will be held on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November at Podium Gigant in Apeldoorn. Evergrey, Theocracy, Immortal Souls, Ashton Nyte, Alterium, Ecclesia, Ephemeral and Angelic Forces were previously confirmed. In addition to performances on the mainstage, special shows can be seen in our theaterhall. The festival also offers space for an exhibition, a metal-market, clinics, interviews and meet & greets.

LINE-UP FURTHER EXPANDED
Immortal Souls, Ashton Nyte and Angelic Forces confirmed
Once again we present three new names for Brainstorm Festival 2024. We have added IMMORTAL SOULS (FIN), ASHTON NYTE (SA) and ANGELIC FORCES (NL) to the line-up.
Immortal Souls is an old-timer, who fortunately turns out to be alive and kicking. Around the turn of the century, the Finnish melodic death-metal band had worldwide success with albums such as ‘Under The Northern Sky’ and their bestseller ‘Ice Upon The Night’. The band is coming to Apeldoorn with new work, but the fans may decide what their set list will look like in the run-up to the festival!
With Ashton Nyte we are bringing a special artist to Apeldoorn. The frontman of the South African gothic rock band The Awakening provides an acoustic show in our theater. Things get louder with Angelic Forces, who open the mainstage on Friday with their tasty 80’s hardrock.

Alterium, Ecclesia and Ephemeral confirmed
The line-up of the upcoming Brainstorm Festival has been expanded with three high-quality names: ALTERIUM (ITA), ECCLESIA (FR) and EPHEMERAL (DE). In addition, day tickets are now also available.
With Alterium we are bringing in the successor to Kalidia. After the band stopped, singer Nicoletta Rosellini decided not to give up, but to start Alterium. The new Italian band directly secured a record deal with AFM Records, and their debut ‘Of War And Flames’ immediately contained four potential hit singles. This is high-level power-metal!
Ecclesia brings something completely different to Brainstorm Festival. The French are clearly visually inspired by Ghost and Batuskha, but musically they lean on Candlemass and Black Sabbath. In red monk’s robes and golden masks, Ecclesia fights everything and everyone who stands in the way of the kingdom of God. Or as the band itself says: “Now confess your sins!
Another special announcement: Ephemeral. The German dark-folk project of Ella Zlotos, Nik Jira and Patrick Maiwald has so far mainly been seen in beautiful church buildings. At Brainstorm Festival the band will play in our theater on Friday and Saturday. Count on atmospheric folk, prog, post-rock and room for improvisations. As said: this will be special!

THEOCRACY CONFIRMED FOR BRAINSTORM FEST

he successful American progressive power-metal band THEOCRACY (USA) is coming to Apeldoorn for an exclusive show. This will be their only show in the Netherlands and Belgium in 2024! The band recently released their new album ‘Mosaic’ through Atomic Fire Records, which is well received by both international press and fans. This will be a treat for fans of Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica and Symphony-X!
